Festive Season

The December 3 course Lunch Menu will commence on Thursday 1st December.
£32.50 per person.

Just for December, the restaurant will extend its opening times to include:

Monday 5th, 12th, 19th for both lunch & dinner
Sundays 4th, 11th, 18th for lunch only

Please note that for December, there will be NO tasting menu available at lunch.
Dinners for December will remain the same as throughout the year with both our 3 course Dinner Menu and our Tasting Menu available. The December Lunch Menu is not available at dinner.

The French Table will close from December 25th until January 3rd 2017.

Christmas Lunch Menu 2016

£32.50 for 3 courses

Mushroom velouté with crushed potato and chorizo ravioli
Warm tartelette of Perigord goats cheese and quince with truffle honey, hazelnut pesto
Buckwheat mille-feuille of home smoked salmon, apple, radish, horseradish, lemon marmalade
Marmite of smoked haddock and Cornish mussels, lime leaf and saffron sauce
Ham hock croustillant, smoked lentils, chargrilled onion purée, truffle dressing
Terrine of Welsh wild boar, piccalilli and toasted sourdough

 

Gnocchi with sweet and sour winter vegetables
Baked stonebass with raclette cheese crust, swiss chard gratin, miso and dill beurre blanc
Cornish hake with lobster risotto, crispy samphire, charcoal leeks, champagne froth
Venison tourte with brussel sprouts, celeriac purée, venison and green peppercorn sauce
Assiette of lamb, beetroot and potato gratin, spiced date purée, chicory, noilly prat sauce
Breast of guinea fowl, stuffed leg of foie gras and chestnut, pomme fondant, creamy salsify, wild mushrooms,
Side order of vegetables or potatoes available at £3.50 per portion
