We have Cooked 109 Pigeon Wellingtons, Baked 127 Grand Marnier Soufflés and our Adam has Shaken 525 Cocktails!

Time & Leisure Food & Culture Awards 2022

The French Tarte
The French Tarte will be OPEN on Christmas Eve for you to collect bread, pastries, and all sorts of delicious treats (including those award-winning mince pies) to see you through the Christmas period. Bread, viennoiseries and pastries can all be pre-ordered from our website. Click on ORDER NOW beneath the heading ‘Takeaway’ to see all available options. If you need any help with placing an order, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
The French Tarte will then be closed from Christmas Day until January 9th. The French Tarte will be back on Tuesday 10th January 2023.
Our Tarte in the Park is now closed for Christmas and will reopen Friday 13th January 2023 for Friday-Sunday weekends only during winter.
The French Table
The French Table will be closed from December 24th until January 9th. The restaurant will then reopen from dinner onwards on Tuesday 10th January 2023. For bookings in 2023, please visit our website for reservations and availability.
A Letter From Eric & Sarah
December is often a time for reflection and as we look back over the past twelve months, we feel blessed that we are still going strong and feel ready for our 22nd year.
It has been so wonderful to welcome guests both old and new this year and honestly, we get quite emotional thinking how with some of you, we have almost grown up together.
This festive season, we’ve enjoyed some wonderful conversations around the table - some have been reminiscing on the first time you visited us, who was here and where you sat - and some have been with those of you coming for the first time, keen to impart familiar names who recommended us. And some truly special words have been shared as we remember those who are sadly no longer with us but their friends and family continue to visit and shine a light on their memory.
We love what we do and are thankful to all our teams for their support - both front and back at the restaurant and at The French Tarte – many of whom have now been with us for several years. We consider them the beating heart of TFT – they work hard to ensure our high standards are met time and time again so you, our guests, are warmly received and well looked after.
We thank you for your continued loyalty and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
